about

TRM-VA-020 Various - Doomed Industry II

Traumatic follows the tradition established with its tenth release in 2015 – the autumn of 2016 sees the 2nd part of Doomed Industry, again uniting Traumatic regulars with prolific guests and promising newcomers. And since recognition has grown, so has this compilation: 23 exclusive tracks, now two and a half hours of dark delight.

By definition, Traumatic is for the mischievous styles of the hardcore underground - Doomcore, Darkcore, Industrial Hardcore and Techno, with a distinct open-mindedness for the experimental and the adventurous. All those styles get their fair share among this lot:
Fast and frantic club tunes by XKRi, Desolation or Hypoxic run next to the “how-slow-can-you-go” attitude by Creature or Diffuse; melodic desperate tunes by Helios Is Dead, D-Version & How Hard and Shatterling sit side by side with a kind of sinister halfstep by Deadhead or the dismal contribution by Machinist; bouncy industrial techno by Silent Humanity and Spindo compete with distorted rhythm assaults by Xaero, Sidelnikov, AnTraxid, Natrion and NDVidual, while in the tracks by Shadowfiend DN and The Aristokrat the beats sound as if they were half-rotten and decomposed.
Also, there is a true anthem to be discovered as mastermind Cubic Nomad and Mel Agony present their shared vision of dark romanticism, a cocoon of melody and martial beats with moody breaks.

All exclusive, follow Traumatic into the future, and you might be in for some reconciliation with your traumata!
