Traumatic’s homegrown Mel Agony is well-known for her collaborations and compilation contributions, now it’s high time for her first standalone release!
Falling far out of the dance floor or any hardcore range, “Terminus” is a delicate and melancholic tune, a soundtrack texture of ambience, keys and strings, a misleading beauty promising sanctuary for all.
Now come the boys to play - Hypoxic brings some rhythmic fragments, most of all enhances the cinematic grandeur and lavish widescreen appeal of the original; Cubic Nomad adds some dystopian samples and takes Terminus to the floor with bustling industrial techno beats. Last up is Xaero, and he has heaped up metallic scrapes and a distorted kick to make it a doomed banger.
Quite not the summery release for the main stage, “Terminus” is surely just right for the Traumatic tribe!
