about

TRM-LP-054 Sacerdos Vigilia - Lurid Lullabies

A Sacerdos Vigilia album is surely one of the most anticipated and eagerly expected news for the industrial heads out there – well, here’s the good word, out it comes. From the artist who is not only known for his passionate DJ sets but also has via a bunch of EPs established himself as a producer comes a prime cut underground package of unique sound that doesn’t need tempo to sound massive: Sacerdos Vigilia’s knack for distortion - spiced up with more distortion – does the job. Slow and distorted, presented with a dash of tongue-in-cheek humor, reference tracks like “Bear Hiker”, “Snake Oil Overdrive” or the rhythmic noise banger “The Drums”.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, there is also a list of prolific guests at this party: Rude Awakening aka Promo, Armageddon Project, Demanufacturer, Helios Is Dead and SummA bring their distinct sound to their respective collaboration tracks, fathoming the faster, the more experimental, the more darkcore corners of Sacerdos Vigilia’s art (have fun finding out which is which). And we’re not done yet: Cubic Nomad and exciting newcomer Ascend have contributed compelling remixes - guaranteed floor fillers each.

“Lurid Lullabies”, the perfect soundtrack for trying to get some sleep with the strobe on full. Truly dazzling!
