Traumatic keeps digging up new talents for the doomcore scene, and AnTraxid introduces himself with an EP that displays more than just generic genre sounds: “The Gateway” and “Metarmorphose” play with the interesting idea of combining crushing downtempo beats with martial kettle drums, which proves a perfect match; “I Am…” and “Charlie’s Wize” make good use of more decidedly industrial sounds – really resonating with layers of sustained distortion.
